Host Your Event at the Museum

The Northeast Louisiana Delta African American Heritage Museum offers a unique and inspiring setting for your next event. Whether you're planning a meeting, celebration, educational gathering, or community forum, our facility provides several flexible spaces ideal for a range of occasions.

Rental Spaces & Rates

Choose from a variety of rooms to suit your event needs:

  • Multipurpose Room – $800

  • Exhibit Room – $600

  • Bistro Room – $175

  • Technology Room – $150

  • Conference Room – $50 (during museum hours) / $75 (after hours)

  • All Rooms Combo (Multipurpose, Exhibit, Bistro) – $1600

Need extra time?
Events are limited to 3 hours. Additional time is $50/hour. Decor and setup time outside normal hours: $15/hour. Cooking in the museum kitchen: additional $150 fee.

What's Included

  • Museum tables and chairs

  • 3 hours of set-up time (day of or day before event during museum hours)

  • Flexibility for approved personal equipment (as needed)

Note: Police security is required for any event where alcohol is served. Open flames (including candles) are not permitted.

Booking & Deposits

  • A $500 refundable deposit is required for all rentals.

  • 50% of fees must be paid at least 14 days prior to the event.

  • Final balance is due before the event date.

  • Cancellations must be discussed directly with the Museum Director.

Eligibility & Approval

Our space is available to adults representing cultural, educational, professional, philanthropic, or community-focused organizations. Personal and private events are also welcome. All bookings are subject to approval by the Museum Director.

Please note: Events must not be marketed as sponsored by the museum unless explicitly arranged. Misrepresentation may result in future booking refusal.
