Let’s be real: museums don’t always feel like they’re meant for young people. Maybe they seem too quiet, too formal, too full of things you’re told not to touch. But what if we told you this museum—your museum—is actually waiting for you to make some noise, shake things up, and get up close and personal?

At the Northeast Louisiana Delta African-American Heritage Museum, we want the next generation to explore, question, and lead.

That means you.

So here’s our challenge: Don’t wait to be invited into history. Walk through the front door and take up space.
